During Mainnet in New York City, RockTree Capital hosted a VIP gathering of Web 3.0 industry leaders where RockTree brought together its friends and partners from the East and from the West to meet looking out over Central Park. Guests included funds and projects, including Sequoia, Fenbsuhi, DCG, Hashed, Huobi, Galaxy, JPMorgan, amongst others. The VIP House held in a panoramic setting and led by CEO of RockTree Capital Omer Ozden, curated key professionals from the global Asian and Western Web 3.0 community.
The event coincided with Mainnet 2022, which is one of the largest crypto conferences globally, guests experienced a special fusion creation of Western and Asian food, drinks, music and along with the bespoke RockTree Cocktail, as well as toasts with Maotai Baijiu during the high impact networking event.
The Mainnet conference was held near RockTree Capital’s New York office and close to iconic Wall Street and the New York Stock Exchange.
RockTree Capital CEO Omer Ozden is an international partner of ZhenFund. When he first moved to China in the 1990s, his team created the VIE structure which helped open up the region to capital during the early days of the internet and he was part of the VC and IPO programs of the early internet giants of Chinese internet companies such as Baidu, NetEase, Alibaba and New Oriental. Over the course of the last number of years in Web 3.0 RockTree Capital is again helping the North American and Asian markets come together in blockchain and cross boarder transactions.
