SINGAPORE, Sept. 27, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- September 2018 marked an exhilarating week for the local blockchain community as Consensus, the world's coveted sell-out blockchain convention, took centre stage at Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre. Blockchain investors, founders and community flew in from all around the world to attend the two-day-long networking bonanza spanning 19th to 20th September 2018.
Even as Consensus drew to a close, the celebratory fanfare was far from over. Jovial guests flocked to The Blockchain Hub for its aptly-themed closing after-party, "Reflections from Consensus" Crypto Event, indulging in a cozy fireplace mingling session to round off Singapore Blockchain Week.
Highlights: A High Profile Guest List from All Over the World
Hosted by Talenta and BlockConnectors, the third instalment of the Blockchain Hub's series of educational networking meetups was infused with rich international insight, with special thanks to the global turnout from Consensus. Networking was especially productive: attendees who had met at Consensus rekindled their chats in a cosier setting, complete with closed-door rooms specially provided by the Blockchain Hub to facilitate cosier networking.
International Pitches and Panelists from the U.S., China, South Korea and Europe
The past two Crypto Events in July and August housed a largely local guest mix. This time, the attendees were treated to rousing panel discussions from prominent international guest panelists, including an exciting East Meets West panel showdown that comprised of perspectives from Alison Wang of global Bitcoin exchange OKEx and Perianne Boring, the eminent Founder and President of the Digital Chamber of Commerce, Washington D.C..
Unlike Consensus' large-scale ampitheatre-style panels, Crypto Event kept its pitching and panel discussions friendly and approachable, touching on the community's current concerns surrounding Crypto Trends and Progression, Surviving the Bear Market, and addressing Crypto's Hype, Hope and HODL. The exciting lineup also encompassed passionate pitches from budding ICOs Non-Zero, Santiment, SmarTract, Sovereign Wallet, BCoin and AICrypto.
At the heart of these discussions were noteworthy speakers such as Rakjae Choi from deep-learning maestro AICrypto, Omer Ozden from RockTree Capital, Maksim Balashevich from Santiment and more.
